On this gorgeous day in June, the weather was very kind on Irish Kannadigara Sangha (IKS) as the members gathered at St Brigids GAA club (Castleknock, Dublin) for the Sri Satyanarayanaswamy Pooje.
A venue just perfect for such social events of IKS, as it had enough room to accommodate over 150 members of the Sangha.
Additionally there was adequate room for the tiny tots and busy bees of the Sangha to play around.
The presence of IKS members from all parts of Ireland was indeed a delight, which offered the opportunity to catch-up before the holiday season, hence a very timely organised event.

The venue was duly decorated and prepared for the occasion by the IKS volunteers, who as always are full of enthusiasm in organising and running all IKS events. The Pooje started just after mid-afternoon and was performed by Mr. Balakrishna Patil (dad of IKS member Chaitra Girish Mallya), who during his visit to Ireland kindly agreed to perform the auspicious Sri Satyanarayanaswamy Pooje for the benefits of all IKS members. It was also good to see all IKS members supporting the event by being suitably dressed in traditional attire and bringing various varieties of traditional Indian dishes, which I am sure all the member of IKS enjoyed and will cherish for some time.
A yet again successful event concluded with more social interactions and finally the members dispersing by late afternoon. A big big kudos to all the IKS members who organised this fantastic event.

Aatmiya kannadigare,
It has been a great day with yet another feather to Irish Kannadigara Sangha with around 150 people participating in Shri Sathyanarayana Pooje....This has been one of the best turnout for our event....Great to see kannada community coming together to celebrate and be part of pooja.
Thanks to everyone who helped during planning, executing as well as coordinating the event today. one of the best feedback from today is the home cooked food...over 50 varieties...thanks to everyone....Great feedback from Hon. Indian Ambassador, Mrs Radhika Lokesh who came along with her family to the pooja today.
Please share your feedback. It really helps us to motivate, improve further and to organize many more events. Photos will be updated soon. Also please share your pictures to the group.
